Himalayan Soapnut (Reetha) Powder

Grown and harvested by women in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand, India, soapnut is a natural cleaning agent that has been used in India for thousands of years. When combined with water, this powder can be used as an all-natural alternative to harmful synthetic detergents and soaps, keeping your clothes naturally fresh and bright. Naturally antiseptic and hypoallergenic, this powder can also be used to wash hair, hands, and dishes, and is ideal for sensitive skin and eczema. 

Each kit contains 200 gm. of organic soapnut powder and 2 cotton pouches. 

How to Use: In washing machines, add 25 gm. of powder to one cotton pouch for each 6 kg load (add 1 extra tbsp for hard water). For small or lightly soiled loads, one pouch can be reused. Can be used on all fabrics at any temperature. No extra fabric softener or conditioner is required. For hand-washing, use 1 tbsp of powder for every 10 liters of water.
